Narrative essay

The incident happened on a Wednesday in elementary school, when I was 9 years old in 3rd grade. the clock shows half past 11 after hearing the bell ring all my classmates out of class to go home as well as me and my friend named Dera.
Because that day was wednesday we wore scout uniforms, Dera was not my seatmate.she'is just my classmate and i know her  quite well, because the direction of our house is the same that day we promised to go home together. She is a cute and cheerful kid, we talked a little while walking  waiting for an empty angkot.
we walked while talking about the lunch that will be brought tomorrow, because tomorrow is thursday sports lessons usually our class especially female students will bring their own lunch. about 8 minutes walk we arrived at the railroad crossing the distance is 100 meters and coincidentally the angkot that we were waiting for arrived, inside there were not many people  there were only 2 woman carrying shopping bags and and 1 boy around the age of 14 wearing a junior high school uniform.
when we stopped the angkot, dera rushed up inside saying "let's go up we've been walking for a long time", the position at that time we were slightly chasing the angkot which made my shoelaces open, before I boarded the angkot I stopped for a moment to tie my shoelaces again. And suddenly a woman who wasn't too old, you could say, a beggar, came up to me she said"kid, I'm asking for money to take an angkot, I don't have money."I was very confused because the last remaining money of the day was only one thousand rupiah which I would use to pay for the angkot. "If it is given to this beggar I will walk home and it is quite far". suddenly the scream of the angkot driver broke my daydream "do you want to get on or not" While shouting back, I said to my friend and the angkot driver "Flame you first, it's okay, I'll find another angkot later" I said to dera. "Don't go up, just deliver this mbak and this is the money" the woman went up and dera said nothing while waving at me.
about 10 seconds later after my shoelaces were neatly trimmed as I looked at the angkot that my friend was riding, suddenly the sound of a train coming and the angkot was crossing the railroad barrier which made him drag. I didn't know what to do at that time, I just looked at my friend inside and was silent.
After that I thought if I didn't take my shoes off and I didn't tie them maybe I would be with my friends in the angkot, it was because of the blessing of the thousand money I gave to the beggar. maybe not much but God replaces it with a price that is priceless, namely life.
